:: Welcome to Hawkesbury People & Places ::

Hawkesbury People and Places is an ongoing project which aims to collect, record and locate the places, built objects, geographical features, organisations and people associated with the history of the Hawkesbury Region.

The database is not designed to provide a comprehensive history of each entry but to document its existence and provide a starting point for local and family history researcher.

A wide variety of information is included, some purely anecdotal such as ….whilst other material has been drawn from ‘official sources’ such as Historic Records of Australia and census records.
