Hawkesbury People & Places Comleroy Flora Reserve is located on Darkinjung Country on the Putty Road at Colo, New South Wales about 5 kilometres from the Colo River Bridge. The reserve was created in January 2021 and covers an area of 2531 hectares. The reserve shares a boundary with Parr State Conservation Area and is situated across the Colo River from Wollemi National Park. It provides a protected area for 14 endangered species of animals and is high in biodiversity and links up with wildlife corridors that run both east-west and north-south. The rugged and remote landscape protects the environment from disturbance. There are two walking tracks in this reserve: the East Track and the West Track which do not link to form a circular walk. These tracks may have once provided access to the freehold portions of land which border on the reserve. For more information see the NSW National Parks factsheet Please make your comment below.
