“Fitzgeraldine” was the name of Robert Fitzgerald’s 500 acre property near Box Hill, New South Wales which was sold following Fitzgerald’s death many years earlier in 1865. The land was described as Portion 121, Parish of Nelson, County Of Cumberland.

Excerpt from the Parish of Nelson County of Cumberland map, 7th edition (1903) showing the location of the 500 acre property known as Fitzgeraldine. This property adjoined Box Hill Farm on the northern boundary which was also part of Fitzgerald’s estate.
In November 1893, the trustees of Fitzgerald’s estate successfully applied for leave to sell off the estate under the Settled Estates Act (NSW). The notice was published in the Daily Telegraph on the 4 November.
Re. trusts of will of the late Robert Fitzgerald. Mr. Langer Owen (instructed by Frederick William Walker, agent of Mr. William Walker, of Windsor) appeared for the petitioner, trustees. This was an application by way of petition under the Settled Estates Act of 1886 for leave to the trustees to sell 500 acres of land situate at Nelson, Box-hill, near Windsor, and known as Fitzgeraldine Estate, respondents appearing to consent. Order was granted as prayed, with costs out of proceeds of sale.
