This bush cemetery is still in use today and is administered by Hawkesbury City Council. It is located far above the river out of the reach of flooding which has damaged many of the other riverbank cemeteries. Members of river families such as Leet, Jones, Herps, Everingham, Blundell and Gosper are buried here. The oldest burials are located in the Anglican and Methodist sections.
In the Methodist section, Charlotte Smith died July 1899 67 years (Row 2 Plot 5) and Thomas Everingham who died on the 16 May 1916 aged 89 years is located in Row 2 Plot 2.
In another section, Katherine Heather Varkass was a visitor from New Zealand who drowned in the Colo River in 1949 she was only 16.
