‘The bazaar in aid of the building of the new Roman Catholic Church at Riverstone, which was postponed in consequence of the illness of the Rev. Father McDonnell, and his subsequent trip to Europe, is to held in the Oddfellow’s hall, Riverstone, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Dec., 19th, 20th, and 21st. The members of the Riverstone congregation are working hard to make it a financial success, as the pressing need of the new church is evident from the condition of the present one, the outside walls of which are falling away owing to the depredations of white ants.’
